LATTOOG, more than the fusion of its owner’s names, architect Leonardo Lattavo and designer Pedro Moog, the studio is the result of an innovative experience in design and architecture, marked by the plurality of two different, but complementary, backgrounds.
What was only a hobby between 1998 and 2003, became an exercise on creativity among the artistic activities of the two partners – which also includes painting, sculpture and drawing – transforming into their main occupation in 2004. Lattoog collaborated with DNP in the previous edition of the project.
Authorial design, formal simplicity and elegance at all costs. This sentence is the backbone of the work of two architects graduated at Universidade Mackenzie. Former classmates, Flavio Borsato and Mauricio Lamosa founded Estudiobola around this concept sixteen years ago, creating products with personality and simplicity.
Their work does not follow trends and requires rigorous research on proportions and finishing materials in order to provide their creations with timeless results, a characteristic which increases the lifespans and beauty of their creations over the years. This concept is present throughout Estudiobola’s production, from the creation of a chair to the design of a lamp.
Some of the design awards received by the Estudiobola, such as Prêmio Museu da Casa Brasileira, have helped to frame their work. The studio is recognized in the furniture segment by their Excellency in design and by always searching for excellent commercial results, strengthening the relationships with the companies that produce and sell their creations
